Nothing in Jessica’s life happened by accident.
Not the pain.
Not the path.
Not even the people.
Long before she met Martin, Jessica had already begun walking her path—a Black migrant woman navigating the complex terrain of identity, belonging, and purpose in Australia. Her lived experience, once a source of isolation, became her liberation. It birthed her voice, and that voice became a movement.
She transformed her story into an award-winning film that shook rooms and opened hearts. She authored books that gave language to what so many had buried. She became a certified life coach and speaker, using her scars as maps for others seeking their own way home.
Jessica’s mission was already clear: to awaken people to the divine gifts buried inside them. To remind them that their pain had purpose, and their purpose had power.
Even when she was told she didn’t belong in those spaces—film, leadership, transformation—she didn’t just step in.
She built the damn door.
But nothing—no festival, no standing ovation, no published book—prepared her for the moment Dylan passed.
Dylan, Martin’s 16-year-old son.
A bright light.
Gone too soon.
It was in Dylan’s death that Jessica’s message was no longer just purposeful—it became urgent.
For years, she had been telling the world, “You have a purpose. Live it.”
But it wasn’t until Dylan’s passing that she truly understood the other half of that truth:
that time—to do that—is limited
Even in his short life, Dylan lived meaningfully. His presence carried purpose. And his departure became a sacred catalyst—not just for Jessica, but for Martin, too.
Martin’s Awakening
Martin, once fully immersed in the world of work and performance. But everything changed after the tragic loss of his 16-year-old son. That heartbreak cracked something open. It made space for something new. What began as a life of grit and grind has since become a path of clarity, purpose, deeper meaning, and healing, and love
